Design Thinking
Thinking outside the diamond
I apply the double diamond technique to most of my projects. This design thinking was taught to me during the UXDI Course at General Assembly, where I learned the necessary techniques to tackle any project.
However, the more I design outside of a Bootcamp setting, the more I realize there is “no best process”. The goal should be to treat my projects as an iterative practice, not a one-and-done procedure.
I pull tools from the design toolbox that are necessary for that specific project. This allows for flexibility in my work–promising the best for the user and the client.
